ABOUT

Meet Kailyn & adam

12.30.18
The day I will marry my best friend.  The one i laugh with, live for, dream with, and love.

We met in a Sociology class on our first day of senior year in high school. Throughout the semester, Adam and I hung out occasionally with
friends. After the semester was over, I began to go over to Adam's house to help with his one year old quadruplet cousins. It wasn't until the end of April that Adam asked me to be his girlfriend and his date to prom. Our "first date" was our senior prom at the America's Center. We went with a group of friends in an old mini-van. The date was never very formal, we never slow danced together. I wasn't sure how long the relationship was going to last, but I was happy that I had someone to share the night with.

The proposal

My favorite time of year is December because I love all the holiday lights that people put up around the city. I especially love the Brewery Lights at Anheuser-Busch. On the day of the proposal, I had not been feeling well, but Adam had planned to meet some friends up at the Brewery for the Lights. Knowing that I hate to cancel plans, especially last minute, I went. Adam and his friend had discussed with security ahead of time what they wanted to do, without me knowing, so they told me that we were going to take aerial pictures of the lights for the brewery. Originally, I was planning on staying back with his friend's wife, but Adam coaxed me into joining them in the adventure. We rode up a gold plated elevator to the top of the Old School House. When we were up there, we went outside onto a balcony overlooking the Clock Tower and all of the lights. The guys chatted about work and I was looking around. When I turned around, Adam was down on one knee and smiling real big. I was shocked and kind of laughed it off, before Adam could even ask. Adam then asked me to marry him and I said, "Of course!"
